About Quartz Finishes

What Is a Quartz Finish?

A quartz finish is a plaster mix that includes crushed quartz aggregate. The quartz adds strength and color to the surface, which helps it resist staining and etching better than standard plaster. It still feels mostly smooth underfoot.

Natural and Colored Quartz

Natural quartz gives a lighter, classic look. Colored quartz blends add blue, gray, or other tones that change the color of the water. Ask us which quartz colors are available for your project.

Diamond Brite at Islander Pool & Spa

We offer Diamond Brite finishes. Colors on display change over time, so visit the showroom or call 714 891 2277 to see current Diamond Brite colors and compare them with your tile and coping.

Compare Quartz with Other Finishes

Quartz finishes, including Diamond Brite, are one part of our plaster selection, along with pre-blended plaster and polished marble finishes. See our Pool Plaster page to compare finishes.
